John 10:24 The Jews gathered around him, saying, "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly." 25 Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me, NIV
How long will you keep us in suspense?
Have you ever felt like you were hanging in suspense? What I mean is you have the feeling like you are waiting for something that has not come yet. Something that you might have asked God for and when it comes it will be yet another sign or confirmation that Jesus is the Christ. That God does what he says he will.

It has been a busy summer and I haven't written a sheepmail since May 2010. I have been slack or maybe more busy than slack.
This is a good thing to talk about. What happens when seasons of business take over and our routines go out of whack? You know what I mean when our good habits are disturbed and things start to spiral out of control. Habits like prayer, study of the Word of God, Exercise and fellowship with important people.

Kazatel 3:1-8 For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. 2 A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest. 3 A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear down and a time to build up. 4 A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. 5 A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones. A time to embrace and a time to turn away. 6 A time to search and a time to quit searching. A time to keep and a time to throw away. 7 A time to tear and a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time to speak. 8 A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace.
Ephesians 6:18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character.' NIV
People influence people! This is true in the bad and good sense. 'Do not be misled' means don't be led in the wrong direction. In the scriptures below we see that the ultimate destination is 'away from God'. It can be disguised in the form of Godliness even righteous sounding words but the fruit of Character will tell the real story.
Character is formed one way, obedience to the word of God.

Mark 8:33b "Get behind me, Satan!" he said. "You do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."
Just a quick question - what do we have more of on our minds, the things of God or the things of men?
I wonder if Jesus is talking about quantity or quality.
